Robert Lewandowski has struggled for consistency this season, but he found some joy tonight with his brilliant header for Barcelona against Osasuna.
The Polish striker has Marcus Rashford to thank for that, and he did that after the match.
“Rashford has incredible crossing ability. Sometimes, it’s not about power, it’s about perfect precision,” Lewandowski said.
“I’m a striker, and I can tell you that ball was beautiful. It was perfect for me to slot it in,” the big number 9 added.
Lewandowski went on to add how tough it was for Barca to win against Osasuna.
“It was not easy to win here. I’m happy to have scored an important goal,” Lewandowski said.
“We were not good in the first half, but we played much better in the second half.”
