Speaking during the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, the former defender highlighted Hakimi’s consistency for both Paris Saint-Germain and the Morocco national team.
“Right now, Hakimi stands out without question,” Cafu said. “Considering everything he delivers on the pitch, and what he continues to show with his national team, he makes a difference compared to others. He is the best right-back in the world.”
Hakimi has established himself as one of the most influential full-backs in European football, combining attacking threat with defensive reliability. His pace, technical ability and forward runs have made him a key figure for PSG in both domestic and European competitions.
