Headline: Jürgen Klopp Names 24-Man Squad for UEFA Nations League Matches Against Serbia and the Netherlands
Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp has officially revealed his 24-man squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Serbia and the Netherlands. The Bundestrainer has notably trimmed his selection after the extraordinary 44-player squad assembled during the previous international window.
The 59-year-old coach has called up Borussia Mönchengladbach’s young talent Wael Mohya, who receives his first senior national-team call-up, and welcomes back Werder Bremen striker Niclas Füllkrug, who makes his return to the Germany setup for the first time since September 2025. The 33-year-old has had an impressive start to the season, scoring nine goals in eight Bundesliga matches, while Mohya has contributed with four goals in 23 appearances ahead of his 18th birthday in December.

Klopp has retained five players from his initial international window who made their senior debuts. Bayern Munich’s goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, Köln’s attacker Said El Mala, Freiburg’s duo Philipp Treu and Derry Scherhant, along with Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib, all secure further chances. Additionally, VfB Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch and RB Leipzig’s attacker Brajan Gruda stay in the squad despite not yet making their senior debuts.
Notable omissions include RB Leipzig captain David Raum, Nick Woltemade, and Karim Adeyemi, while Bayern Munich players Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala remain sidelined due to injuries. Germany will play Serbia away on November 13, followed by a home match against the Netherlands in Berlin on November 16. Currently, Klopp’s team occupies the third position in their Nations League group.
