Olympics 2024 Men’s soccer semifinals schedule: Spain vs Morocco, France vs Egypt

The men’s soccer event at the 2024 Olympics will enter the semifinal stage, with the four remaining teams competing for the winning medal.

The semifinal match will start on Monday (5/8) evening IST between Morocco vs Spain. A few hours later it will be the turn of the host France to face Egypt on Tuesday (6/8) early morning IST, as reported by the official website of the 2024 Olympics

The winners of both matches will advance to the final, competing for gold or silver medals. While the losers will advance to the third-place match to win bronze medals.

Morocco qualified for the 2024 Olympic men’s football semifinals after winning 4-0 against the United States on Friday (02/08) evening IST.

Meanwhile, Spain secured their place in the last four after also securing a convincing 3-0 win over Japan a few hours later.

Hosts France narrowly edged out Argentina 1-0 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

Thierry Henry’s side will face Egypt in the semi-finals, who advanced after winning 5-4 on penalties against Paraguay.

The final match itself is scheduled to take place at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris on Friday, August 9.

Meanwhile, the bronze medal match will be held at La Beaujoire Stadium, Nantes on August 8.
